Tactical planning is the process by which, managers assure that resources are obtained and used effectively And efficiently and efficiently for the accomplishment of the organization’s objectives.
In simple words tactical planning is the process of breaking a long term plans into short term plans. It comes after strategic planning guess? Strategic planning is a long term process. it is impossible to take whole plans so we use tactical planning to break strategic planning into short term plans .
Tactical plans are concerned with ensuring that the company’s resources are adequate for carrying out the strategic plans in order to reach the desired objective.
Timing process of tactical plan is between one to five years. With Tactical planning we find the answer of following Questions:
1. What product should be added or deleted?
2. What capital investment is necessary to strategic planning?
3. What is the best pricing pattern?
4. what new facilities, systems or methods are need to meet strategic planning
The content of any business plan will depend on why the plan is being produced. Some plans are for internal use only and act as a common reference during the preparation of budgets and appraisals. Some plans are basically sales documents aimed at persuading banks to provide loans and investors to provide equity.
